Buzz Playlist Generator

To support the release of NIKI’s “Blue Moon,” we created an interactive playlist generator that transformed each fan’s listening habits and cosmic energy into a personalized musical experience. Inspired by the single’s themes, the site immersed fans in a surreal, dreamlike universe built around astrology, celestial imagery, and self-discovery.

After connecting with Spotify or Apple Music, fans moved through a dynamic series of questions designed to assess their mood and cosmic profile. Their responses were combined with their listening behavior to generate a unique playlist tailored to their individual journey. Each playlist was added directly to the fan’s streaming library and paired with custom cover art designed for downloading and sharing across social media.

Direct streaming integration allowed fans to experience NIKI’s new music throughout the site while simultaneously driving pre-saves, streams, and deeper engagement with the release. With changing questions and personalized results, the experience encouraged repeat visits while giving every fan their own shareable piece of the “Blue Moon” universe.
